40th MUIR REUNION
June 10th, 2017 and the Muir reunion was
held at the Lions Park in Seaforth . It was
the 40th year of celebrating their reunions
and not a year was missed. Relatives at-
tended from Greensboro, North Carolina.
Ron Muir, a Seaforth native went to
Greeensboro, 56 years ago to play hockey
and made his home there. Ron and his
wife,3 daughters and 2 grandchildren en-
joyed meeting their Muir relatives again.
Others attended from Kitchener,Toronto,
Stratford, London and Sarnia. Red and
white was worn by everyone as Canadas
150th birthday was also celebrated.
Games. auction and photo booth brought
laughter! Great food and reminiscing was
enjoyed by everyone..A wonderful reunion
and many thanks to our Muir clan, for com-
ing out to celebrate. Family is like branches
on a tree, we may grow in different direc-
tions yet our roots remain as one.

ETUE, Kenneth James -
At home, surrounded by his family, Kenneth
James Etue passed away on Saturday,
June 17, 2017. Born on December 17,
1947, Jim's 69 year journey through life was
blessed with the love and caring of family
and friends. Loving husband of Agnes (nee
Ryan), devoted father of Michael (Erin
Autio) Etue of Baden, Michelle (Josh)
Phipps of Toronto, and Melissa (Brian)
Yakeley of Stouffville. Grandpa Jim will be
fondly remembered by his grandchildren
Lukas, Bridget, Bradley and Nicholas Etue,
and Emily and Travis Yakeley. Jim is also
survived by his siblings Patricia Etue and
Donald Etue, sister-in-law Rosemary Etue,
as well as Agnes' siblings. Jim's spirit will
be reunited in heaven with his
granddaughter Adah Marie, his parents
Kenneth and Veronica, his brother Thomas,
nieces and nephews Ryan, Sara, Paul and
Doug and brother-in-law Ken Feeney. Jim
served his community for many years on
Seaforth's Main Street as a State Farm
Insurance Agent. With consideration and
respect for the future wellbeing of humanity,
Jim has donated his body for medical
research. A Memorial Mass will take place
at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 22
Victoria Street, Seaforth, on Saturday, June
24, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Father Clair
Coleman officiating, followed by a reception
at the Seaforth Legion, 123 Main Street
South, Seaforth, from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30
p.m. As expressions of sympathy the family
would appreciate memorial donations to St.
Elizabeth Health Care, St. James Church
Building Fund, or Seaforth Community
Hospital Foundation and can be made

ROBSON, LaVeme -
Passed away peacefully at Seaforth
Community Hospital on Tuesday, June 13,
2017. Born in Oro Township, Ontario, on
September 30, 1924, Howard LaVerne
Robson of Seaforth, was in his 93rd year.
Beloved husband and best friend for 44
years to the late Audrey (nee Mundy)
Robson (April 19, 2013). Loving father of
Paula Purdy (Kirk), Linda Budd (William),
Wayne Robson (April), Terrence Robson
(Susan), Lynda Shaw and Curtis Robson.
Dearly missed by his grand, great -grand
and great -great-grandchildren. LaVeme will
also be missed by his siblings, nieces,
nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his children Theresa
Cooper (Carl), Robert Hunt, Donald Hunt
and John Hunt (Cindy). Visitation was held
at McGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME,
Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Thursday, June
15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and continued
on Friday, June 16th from 12 noon until the
time of LaVerne's funeral service at 1 p.m.
A reception followed at the Seaforth Legion.
Cremation also followed the service and
LaVerne's remains will be laid to rest with
Audrey's in Maitland Bank Cemetery at a
later date. As expressions of sympathy,
memorial donations to The War Amps are
appreciated and can be made through the
