Sean Hogan set to pertorm at 2017 IPM
The 2017 International
Plowing Match and Rural
Expo, September 19th - 23rd in
Walton is expected to be a
jammed packed week with
several entertainment and
musical acts. First to be
announced is Canadian alter-
native country artist Sean
Hogan, who is set to perform
on Wed' 'ednesday September 20.
Sean 1 logan bom and raised
in Sarnia Ont., released his
debut album in 1996. In 2002
his third album Late Last Night
was named Album of the Year
by West Coast Music Awards
and in 2003 Sean was named
Roots Artist of the Year by the
Canadian Country Music
Association. He was nomi-
nated again for this award in
2006, 2007, and 2008. He has
had seventeen music videos
on CMT and in 2005 Saskatch-
ewan Country ?Music Associa-
tion named him Humanitar-
ian of the Year for his
charitable work and
contributions.
Sean's rising career was
almost derailed in 2011
after what was thought to
be a long, drawn out case of
tonsillitis turned out to be
stage 4 oral pharyngeal
cancer. After six weeks of
intensive chemo and radia-
tion therapy, and six
months of recovery, Sean is
now cancer -free. "Ihis expe-
rience led him to push the
boundaries, play the music
he wants to play, and write
his latest album he named
Phoenix. Sean Hogan will
be performing Wednesday,
September 20th on Tented
City's Main Stage in the
morning with a second
performance on the
Lounge Stage later that
afternoon.
IPM 2017 is September 19
- 23, 2017 with advanced
tickets being sold at every
municipal office in Huron
County for $15 with tickets
available at the gates the day
of for $18 per person.

TRADITIONAL CHARM
Although the exterior finishes of
this attractive bungalow lend it a
traditional charm, inside it offers
all the modem conveniences that
