(HURON COUNTY, Ont.) - The
Huron County Ontario Pro-

Unit Members and staff from
the Huron Women's Shel-
ter would like to send out a
huge THANK -YOU to all those
that supported the 2017
"Stuff the Cruiser" event this
past weekend. The event
was so successful volun-

up vehicle" after volunteers
completely stuffed full the
first two police vehicles.
A contingent of OPP Auxil-
iary Members and an OPP
retired member collected
donations outside of the
Goderich Walmart on Satur-
day, May 13thbetween 1:00
p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Dona-
tions consisted of toilet-
ries, clothing, housewares,
food items, linens and cash
donations totalling $727.
All of the donations will be
utilized by those women and
children that are in need of the
invaluable services offered by
the Huron Women>s Shelter.
«This event always leaves
me in awe of our commu-

kind and generous people
that stopped by through-

ence, thank -you so much!
- OPP Auxiliary Acting Ser-
geant Patty Vandermeer
«We are truly grateful to the
Huron OPP Auxiliary for donat-
ing their time and energy to
the «Stuff a Cruiser» event
this past weekend. We live
in a very generous commu-
nity and I cannot thank those
enough who were shopping
on Saturday for their contri-
butions to women and chil-
dren who are engaged with
our organization. These items
are put to immediate use by
women who are residing in
shelter or in any of our sec-
ond stage housing units in
Goderich, Clinton and Exe-
