Jewelry is my passion, I want people to have quality jewelry they want to wear,
that they can wear next to their heart & tell the story of their life.
All of my pieces are a celebration of life.
My motto is,
"If every Memory was a bead we could all wear a
'One of a Kind' Work of Art."
I graduated George Brown College, won a design award from DeBeers for a
diamond bracelet, I have grandchildren & they too are my passion. One of the
things I love is to do it to turn a child's artwork into a piece of jewelry to treasure.
My jewelry focus is gold & silver chains, rings, bracelets, necklaces & earrings.
1 do custom orders + some unusual body jewelry.

Heather De) was
a creative child with
a love for colour. In
her teens she started
educating in the field
of Interior Decorating
which over the years
led her into jobs in the
home decorating and
decorative painting
field, as a consultant
and instructor In
early 2016 when
attending a decorative
painters _ conference
in Mississauga, it was suggested to her that she would be
very well fitted to instruct canvas painting parties which
were the new popular Creative Social events. From this
she started her existing business, Brushstrokes In Motion.
Heather operates her business out of her home near Clinton,
bringing all of the needed art supplies to the location of the
event host. All paid attendees work on a design instructed by
Heather, using acrylic paints on canvas, taking their finished
accomplishments home with them. When Heather offered
her first painting party event, at the Made In Huron Shop,
it was very well received. The enthusiastic painters who
attended spread the word about the event and it encouraged
Headier to start a facebook page for Brushstrokes In
Motion. Heather invited all of her facebook friends to "like"
the facebook page which created a great deal of interest.
Facebook and word of mouth advertising has grown the
business to a full time commitment for Heather, instructing
at private painting party events, fund raisers, private
instructions, commissioned pieces and sales of art supplies.
When help is needed to assist with larger lasses, Heather
calls on her creative and talented friends Nancy Storey and
Liz Paget to join het Brushstrokes In Motion promotes
their painting classes on their facebook page and holds
them at various places in Huron County, such as Memories
Forever Bed and Breakfast m Seaforth, The Clinton Lions
Club meeting room in Vanastra, The Vanastra Curling Club
and the Seaforth Legion. As an entrepreneur, Heather has
found that being in business for yourself has it's challenges,
such ,as time management and juggling family time with
work. However, when you are fortunate to work at what you
love, you learn what to prioritize. Stepping out of a full time
office job to pursue the entrepreneurial experience isn't for
everyone, but Heather's advice is, research, talk with people
who are successful at what you want to do, checkout your
competition, have a plan, but most of all "Have Fun"
