Horticultural Society
begins 2017 Season
The 2017 Season for the Seaforth and
District Horticultural Society got under-
way on Wednesday, March 8th at North-
side United Church with a delicious pot-
luck supper. Lynne Godkin was the guest
speaker for the evening. Lynne presented
a fascinating overview of the upcoming
2017 Huron IPM. Volunteers from across
the county have devoted a tremendous
amount of time into planning this spec-
tacular event; from plowing to quilting
there will be something for everyone to
enjoy. Advance tickets are now on sale.

Plant and Bake Sale that will be held on
Saturday, May 14th at 8:30am, North-
side United Church.

District Horticultural Society will be held
on Wednesday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m.,
Northside United Church, with guest
speaker Dr. David Sherry, [TWO, "Chick-
adees" All are welcome to attend.
2017 Annual Memberships are now
available for $10 and will entitle you to
discounts at participating greenhouses.

Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancakes & Sausages Supper
The annual Shrove Tuesday Pancakes & Sausages Supper hosted by St. Thomas' Anglican Church.
Members served approximately 175 from the community on February 28.
$360.00 was donated to the Seaforth Food Bank from proceeds of the event
