Plenty of bodies were being
tossed around left and right while
the Huron East Centenaires quar-
relled with the Milverton 4 Wheel
Drives last Saturday for Game 4 of
the WOAA Senior "A"
championship.
Both teams played high-intensity
hockey in Seaforth Match 11 for the
first period, however both goalies
were well prepared and kept the
game close with one a piece enter-
ing the second intermission.
The score remained the same for
the second period of play; coach of
the Centenaires, Mark Wilson or
whom the boys call Sparky said he
noticed both teams were fading.

A pep talk was needed to rejuve-
nate their spirits entering the last
20 minutes of the game.
The third period saw the most
goals, as the Cents put one in and
then Milverton responded roughly
two minute later with a goal of their
own. And with about six minutes
left, Centenaires forward, Calvin
Penny netted another goal to
cement a win.
"During the second we had a
spot where we were just going
through the motions, but that's
part of the game there's ups and
downs," stated Wilson after the
game. "But in the third, we had
a discussion between two and
three and we found a way to
win."
The Centenaires goaltender,
Jesse Raymond had his best goals
against in the playoffs by only let-
ting two pucks past the crease.
He accredited his team's tena-
cious style for the 3-2 win at
home and said if they plan on
hoisting the trophy on Saturday
for Game 5, they must mimic the
same flair.
"Everyone is going to be nerv-
ous, trying to close out the
series, the last game is always
the toughest one," stated Ray-
mond outside the dressing room
after the game. "Today we did
much better at keeping them on
the outside and closing that gap

up.
"If we can do that the next game,
I think the home crowd will have
something to celebrate at the end
of the game."
