The midget boys' 4x100 metre re-
lay `A' team, with runners. deRuiter,

ished in first place with a time of

boys' shot put and Poirier took sixth

Oliver Dobson of St. Anne's finished
in first in the junior boys' 100 metre
dash, with a time of 11.49. Dobson
also finished in third in the junior
boys' 200 metre dash with a time of
24.80. He finished fish in the triple
jump.

The open boy's' 4x400 metre relay
`A team, with runners Boven, Ka-
dlecik, Sparling . and deRuiter, fin-
ished in second place with a time of
3:38.10. The 'B' team? with Watson,
Hartman, Lambert and Dobson, fin-
ished in fifth.
Central Huron Secondary School's
midget boys earned the overall midg-
et boys title. -
Seaforth's Paul Doig finished first

a third place finish in the 1500 metre-

Dylan Lambert won first in the 100
metre dash, second in the 200 metre

Also advancing to WOSSAA in the
junior boys division is Dalton Becker,
Adam Cronin, Matt Chalmers, Mi-
cheal Park, Tyler Black and Fraser
King.
Sarah Dolmage achieved a person-
al best time in the midget girls' 80
metre hurdles and Grant Bolton of
Winthrop will be competing in WOS-
SAA in the 2000 metre steeplechase
took first in the junior boys 400 me-
tre, . dash, with a time of 54.00, fol-
lowed by teammates Jordan !Cad
lecik in second and Stephen Lambert
in sixth. .
Kadlecik earned a first place fin-
ish in the junior boys' 800 metre run
with a time of 2:12.00, while Lam-
bert took second.
Kadlecik also took third in -the 1500
metre run, coming in behind team-
mate Pat Hartman who finished in
second with a time of 4:47.90.
Hartman took second in the junior
boys' 3000 metre run with a time
of 9:59.90. ; He also earned a second
placefinish in the open boys' 2000
metre steeplechase with a time of
7:04.40.
John Lecomte, of 'St. Anne's, fin-
ished second in the junior boys' 100
metre hurdles, followed by team-
mate :Spading.
Sparling also took first in the ju-
nior boys' 300 metre hurdles, with a
time of 42.30.
The junior boys' 4x100 metre relay.
`A' team, with runners Dobson, Spar -
ling, Kadlecik, and Farray-White
finished in second. The 'B' squad,
with Lambert, . Hartman, Van Osch
and Lecomte, finished in fifth. .
Lecomte also took third in the ju-
nior boy's javelin .throw
Dane Nickel, of St. Anne's, earned
a first place finish ip'tlie senior boys'
200 metre dash with a time of 23.90,
followed by teammate Thvin Hutt in
second. Nickel finished in second in
the senior boys' 100 metre dash, with
a time of 11.38.
In the senior boys' 800. metre run,
St. Anne's runner Matt Boven fin-
ished first with a time of 2:01.50.
Matt Boven took second in the 400
metre dash with a time of 52.53. He
also finished in third in the senior
boys' 1500' metre run: •
Teammate Mike Hogan took third
in the 800 metre run and sixth in
the 1500 metre run. Hogan also took
fourth in the senior boys' 400 metre
hurdles.
Phil Schraeder, of St. Anne's,
earned a second place finish in the
senior boys' 110 metre hurdles with
a time of 16.20. He also took . sixth in
the discus throw .
In the senior boys' 4x100
metre relay, the St. Anne's 'A'
team, with runners Nickel,
Hutt, Matt Burdan and Kyle
Cronin, finished in second
place with a time of 48.10.
The St. Anne's 'B' team
took fourth, with runners
Schraeder, Boven, Hogan
and Marnix Goud.
Goud came in second in
the senior boys' high jump
behind first place finisher
Hutt, who jumped 1.75 me-
tres.

"I am very happy with the results
of our team, with about 30 athletes
advancing to WOSSA," said CHSS
coach Cindy Carter after the meet.
"CHSS has the potential • for three
to five athletes to advance to the
Regionals. WOSSA is a very tough
division, as we are meeting up with
the London and surrounding area
conferences. The athletes will have
to attain personal best results."
