Central Huron Secondary School's midget boys earned the overall midg- et boys title. - Seaforth's Paul Doig finished first in the 800 metre and second in the 1500 metre. Teammate Jacop McDougall earned a third place finish in the 1500 metre- and etreand fifth in the 3000 metre. Dylan Lambert won first in the 100 metre dash, second in the 200 metre and another second in the 300 metre hurdles. • Seaforth's Riley Ward won finished first hi high jump, third in shot put and third in javelin. Nickel finished in second in the senior boys' 100 metre dash, with a time of 11.38. In the senior boys' 800. metre run, St. Anne's runner Matt Boven fin- ished first with a time of 2:01.50. Matt Boven took second in the 400 metre dash with a time of 52.53. He also finished in third in the senior boys' 1500' metre run: • Teammate Mike Hogan took third in the 800 metre run and sixth in the 1500 metre run. Hogan also took fourth in the senior boys' 400 metre hurdles. Phil Schraeder, of St. Anne's, earned a second place finish in the senior boys' 110 metre hurdles with a time of 16.20. In the senior boys' 4x100 metre relay, the St. Anne's 'A' team, with runners Nickel, Hutt, Matt Burdan and Kyle Cronin, finished in second place with a time of 48.10. The St. Anne's 'B' team took fourth, with runners Schraeder, Boven, Hogan and Marnix Goud. Goud came in second in the senior boys' high jump behind first place finisher Hutt, who jumped 1.75 me- tres. Goud took second in the triple jump and teammate arn .firsts Seaforth's. "I am very happy with the results of our team, with about 30 athletes advancing to WOSSA," said CHSS coach Cindy Carter after the meet. "CHSS has the potential • for three to five athletes to advance to the Regionals. WOSSA is a very tough division, as we are meeting up with the London and surrounding area conferences. The athletes will have to attain personal best results."
