The Huron Respite Network is a partnership of thirteen local Agencies that collaborate to provide respite in Huron County for children, youth and adults with special needs. Position Summary: The Coordinator will facilitate the objectives of the. Advisory and Management Committees, as well as provide direct assistance to families. Duties will range from administrative; management of subsidies, develop and monitor respite options; recruitment of providers; matching applicants and providers; maintenance of a data base. Skills: Post -secondary degree/diploma, minimum of 3 years community experience in the Human Services field is necessary; demonstrated accomplishments in a coordination role with health or social service organizations; strong leadership, communication and interviewing skills; knowledge of community based resources; crisis intervention skills; ability to self -direct; experience with MS Office; valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
