A wide variety of exhibitors profiling careers in health sciences, trades; technology and management and more than a dozen academic institu- tions and training schools will be at the two-day event being held at the Seaforth Community Centre. "It's . our hope that increased awareness about the diversity of careers and employment opportunities available locally will persuade our youth to stay in the area to work and contribute to the overall economy," said symposium co-ordinator Wes MacVicar. Residents had decorated cupcakes which were served along with grapes and straw- berries, making attractive displays of Easter. Lisa Stewart provided music for the afternoon assisted by Resi- dent Volunteer Marjorie Freeman as she played a wide variety of songs on the piano. Thank you to Bill Gib- son for donating the daffodils used for the tables as well as Kay Mock & Lisa Stewart for bringing their selec- tion of Easter Bonnets for attendees to wear. Funds raised were for Ex- eter Food Bank. Queensway's Volunteer Auxiliary & Family Council were treated to an Appreciation Brunch in the Cafe fol- lowing their meeting Tuesday April 7th.
