School awarded for hard work From Page 7 "It's not just the scores. It's exciting to see that what we're doing is work- ing and we're moving forward," she says. Peach says that while she's also not comfortable with the school being identified as a low income school, she says the award acknowledges that "all kids can learn." "The teachers are really excited. It's nice to be recognized for the hard work we've been doing," she says. The award comes with a plaque that is displayed in the school lobby and $3,000.
