of care that includes 133 LTC beds, 25 Seniors Apartments, 25 Life
Lease Townhome Bungalows and Community Outreach services.

As part of the Leadership Team, you will have Director. of Care
(DOC) responsibility for Mitchell Nursing Home (48 beds). As
ADOC you will support the DOC with the leadership and direction of
nursing services to ensure that all care will be provided as required by:
The Ministry of Health and Long -Term Care (MOHLTC) legislation
and other Ontario related legislation, MOHLTC and Ritz Lutheran
-Villa guidelines, policies and procedures and the College of Nurses of
Ontario standards and guidelines.
Your qualifications include: RN with current registration and in good
standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, knowledge of long-
term care home standards and MOHLTC legislation and progressive,
professional leadership/management experience, preferably in long
term care. Your interests and experience focus on resident -centred
care, being part of a continuum of care, proactively anticipating and
responding to change. You are self-directed, flexible; possess strong
interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and a proven
ability to work well within a team leadership environment.
Mentoring for this position will be available at the outset to ensure a
smooth transition. Start date is as soon as possible.
