The Seaforth-Winthrop Minor Base-

community for sponsorships to outfit
every player in the league with a uni-
form this season.
Steve Kropf, president of the Sea -

ciation, says the new seven -member
association doesn't expect registration
dollars to cover' the cost of providing
every player from T -Ball to Midget
with his or her own uniform.

Guelph and London.
They ended up facing London in the

all Associatlon needs uniforms for play
he says. "Uniforms have a high
cost so many teams are in need and
we can't outfit every one of them."
Kropf says much of the association's
equipment. .is- also outdated and in
need of replacing, some of it being up
to 20 years old.
"Registration dollars will help with
that but we're looking for other dona-
tions to help out with the teams and
bring baseball back to where it should
be" he says. "The association is hop-
ing to be able to provide a great expe-
rience for the kids this year."
Kropf says there are no immediate
i
plans for an association fundraiser.
March 31 marked the last of three
registration dates to join the league,
which attracted 108 players ages five
to19.
The number would make up 11
teams from T -Ball toMidget. There is
still room for about 10 players in T -
Bali, for ages five and six; in pre -mite,
for ages seven and eight; and in Ban-
tam, for ages 15 and 16.
Both boys and girls are welcome to
