Granddaughter Aleisha Dale is a member of this team. The Seaforth Petite girls ringette team was in a tournament in Niagara Falls recently. They won the gold med- al. Members from the area included Allison Braecker, Amy Alcock and Iris Vander Ploeg.. Marjorie Dolmage has returned from a trip to Red Deer Alberta where she visited her sisters. They travelled to Edmonton and spent time in the West s z r ni#ed Church Edmonton Mall. The temperature in Edmonton was -40. - The old underground gas pumps have come out at the Winthrop store. They had been replaced with above ground tanks so gas and diesel are still avail- able. Don't forget the "Coffee Time" on Fri- days at Cavan. We did however, take pride in the fact that Canadians have a reputation for being generous and thoughtful of others who are liv- ing in less fortunate parts of the world. When we do a little bit to help, it truly does make a difference.
