The Seaforth Stars' midget girls
hockeyrteam has their sights set on
the -provincial championships April

ga.

"Once you get to the provincials,
`there is a lot of good competition,"
says Robinet, who is in his second
year as coach. "It_: will be a good

challenge for
Robinet says that "with a little
_bit of luck," there's a good chance
the 15 to 17-year-olds on the Sea -
forth squad will do well in the
tournament, which is comprised of
a round robin followed by a medal
round to determine the provincial
girls' champions.

Last season, the- team finished
among the final eight teams in the
tournament. .
So far, the key to the team's suc-
cess has been "a good combination
of defense, goaltending and timely
scoring," Robinet says.
When asked about whosome of
the key players are on the team,
Robinet is reluctant to name any
individuals.
"We have a talented group of girls
and I think of us more as a team,"

Coach's Comments: Aker winning both games
in the second round of provincial playdowns
against Howick, the girls are going to the pro-
vincials. During the games, the girls played
their positions and should be proud.

the coaches were proud of each player on the
