SALVERDA, Age "Edward": Peacefully at Sea - forth Community Hospital on Sunday,' February 22, 2009 Mr. Age "Edward' Salverda of R.R.#1, Londesborough in his 77th year. Ed was born in Franeker, The Netherlands on April 6, 1932, son .of the late Age and Baukje Salverda. In 1951 the family emigrated to Canada. Ed was active in dairy farming for many. years. Beloved husband of Ida (van Holstyn) Salverda. Loving father of Edward and his wife Joanne of R.R. #1, Londes- borough. Dear grandather of Kevin, David and Jason Salverda. Dear brother and brother-in-law of. Mike Salverda of Clinton, Gay Salverda of RR #1, Londesborough, Clara Lanberak of Franeker, The Netherlands and Helen Schikker of Chatham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pre- deceased by one brother Pete Salverda, one sis- ter-in-law Johanna Salverda and two brothers-in- law Cor Lanberak and Gordon Schikker.
