Huron East;
ready for
next round
of federal
funding

While Huron East didn't
apply for the first round of
federal and provincial fund-
ing that last week brought
$53 million in infrastruc-
ture funding to the riding
of Huron -Bruce, adminis-
tration is getting ready for
the next round.
McKillop Coun. Bill Sie-
mon told Huron East coun-
cil at its Feb. 17 meeting
that Huron -Bruce MP Ben
Lobb had visited county
council last week, encour-
aging local municipalities
toapply for funding.

ey coming in the second
round of the federal incen-
tive program for things like
new roofs on arenas and a
