Listowel 3"'
Coaches' comments: Sunday saw a good game against the Cyclones.
There was some great shots put on the Listowel net but they could not
find the way into the mesh. Seaforth finished the season in second place
which is a great accomplishment, considering Seaforth moved up a level
and played in the "B division" of the WOAA.;,

"For a team that only brought 20 swimmers, I
think we did all right," says coach Scott Middle-.
ton: "We don't have the size to go for team points
so I didn't put kids into all kinds of events. My
focus instead is how many individuals we can
move through to OFSAA."
Middleton says that with one of 18 CHSS swim -
niers going to OFSAA last year, he's hoping to
send three swimmers this year.
"I think that's a decent percentage for a school.
with 500 kids and a team of 20 swimmers," he

Coaches Comments: Girls played outstanding
all weeked: Seaforth won their first two games
which gave them a bye to the gold medal game
on Sunday. During the gold medal game at the
end of the first period, Seaforth was down by
three goals. Had way too much penalty time to
kill, but the girls did it! No goals scored short
handed! Seaforth kept their heads high and
fought back hard. With only a minute and bit
left, Holly Becker scored the tying goal. With
great passes and team work, Hannah Garrick
scored the winning goal with 47.6 seconds left
on the clock. Jessie Walton played three out-
standing games in net. Way to go Seaforth
