She was the loving mother of Dwight and Kathy (Rog- er Deschenes), dear grandmother of Ryan Willis and dear sister of Helen Holland. She was prede- ceased by her parents, Jean and John McKenzie and one brother, John. Marjorie was a former telephone operator with Bell Canada for 38 years. No visitation and no funeral service. Beloved compan- ion of Janet Davies for over 30 years. Dear father of Dianne (Jim) Martin of Lindsay, Roy of Seaforth, Ron (Nancy) of Haileybury, Donna of Seaforth, Lois of Ottawa, and Larry (Karen) of Clinton. Step- father of Adam (Jeannette) Davies of Pugwash, Nova Scotia. Loving grandfather of James and Christopher Martin, Danny, Dana, Shannon, Ryan, Tyler, Matthew and Jenessa Dalton, Robyn DeBus Troy Hopkins, and Tyna Aubrey. Step -grandfather to Rhys Davies. Also loved by six great grand- children. Remembered . by his loving sister Doris Muir, sisters-in-lavy Dorothy and Mavis Dalton, Helen Adam, and brothers-in-law John and Don- ald Adam. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Spring interment Maitlandbank Cemetery, McKillop Twp. Ontario. Honourary pallbearers were Ray Anstett, Frank Nigh, Frank Hulley, Clay- ton Mizen and John Adam. Flower bearers were Robyn DeBus, Tyna Aubrey and Jenessa Dalton. Pallbearers were Danny Dalton, James Martin, Christopher Martin, Tyler Dalton, Troy Hopkins and Carl Finkbeiner. Beloved husband of the late Ann Hunt (nee Gould - 1990). Lovingly remembered by his chil- dren & grandchildren; Barry Hunt and his wife Ja- ness of Kitchener, their children Andrea & Daw- son; Carole Hunt -Ford and her husband Raymond of Richard's Landing, their children Caray, Brielle & Nolan; Lisa Hunt and her husband Ed Doucette of Fenwick; and Keith Hunt and his wife Betty Ann of Waterloo, their children Taylor & Macey. Dear brother of Marge Akins and Marie Flannigan, both of Port Dover. Bill was born and raised in Sea - forth, Ontario and graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Agriculture in 1955. He moved to Simcoe where he worked as manager at the Norfolk Co-op for over 20 years. He was active in Jr. Farmers where he met his wife of 30 years and together they raised a family, competed in square dancing and enjoyed weekly dances and social events with friends. In 1977, he and his family purchased and operated the Winter- bourne General Store. Bill then moved to Elmira where he worked for a veal supply company, pro- viding consultation, milk replacer and medicines to farmers throughout Southern Ontario. After his wife passed away In 1990, he retired and moved to Norwich, St. Thomas, Port Stanley, and had re- cently returned to Simcoe where he was thrilled to catch up and reacquaint himself with friends from earlier times. Bill loved life and people. He will be fondly remembered for his great laugh, love of music, food, family and friends, antique cars and tractors, and his ability to "snooze" anytime, any- where. Friends were invited to share their memo- ries of Bill with his family at the JASON SMITH FU- NERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, January 16th, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. The service to celebrate Bill's life was held on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Old Windham United Church, Glendale Circle, Simcoe. A pri- vate family interment of ashes will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Matthews Memo- rial Hospital.
