Ritz Lutheran Villa is a multi -faceted organization comprised of an,
eighty-five bed long term care home (The Villa), twenty-five inde-
pendent living apartments (Ritz Manor), twenty-five independent
living town homes (Thames River Place), a fifty bed long term care
home (Mitchell Nursing Home), Mitchell and Area Community.
Outreach (support services for seniors in the community).
This challenging opportunity will appeal to an individual who
enjoys a Long Term Care setting in a small town atmosphere, where
you get to know residents, staff and family members. As part of the
Leadership Team you will provide value based leadership and direc-
tion to the building services as well as to the organization as.a whole
using your critical thinking, strategic planning and problem solving
skills.
Your qualifications include: Degree/diploma/certificate in
Environmental Services, Engineering or Facilities Management or
equivalent combination of formal education and practical experience
are required. Certification in 'an applicable trade (electrician, _
plumber, HVAC) an asset. Knowledge of long-term care home stan-
dards and MOHLTC legislation and progressive, professional leader-
ship/management experience, preferably in longterm care.
Experience in contract and project management. Your interests and
experience focus on preventative maintenance, proactively .anticipat-
ing and responding to change.:: .e
You are self-directed, flexible, possess strong interpersonal, verbal
and written communication skills and a proven ability to work well
within .a team leadership environment.
