CHRISTMAS - A TIME 10 COUNT OUR BLESSINGS AND SAY
THANK YOU TO THE COMMUNITY
Daily, since the accident in June, we are reminded by the phone calls, visits, kind words, deli-
cious food and offers to drive to appointments...and on the back roads looking for deer...just how
lucky we are to live in such a caring supportive community.
To the "Out of the Wood" committee...we were overwhelmed. Seldom we are at a Toss for
words but we are having trouble finding the words to express how deeply everyone touched our
hearts with their kindness and generosity. We hope everyone enjoyed the morning, afternoon and
evening events as much as we did. An event like this took many hands, personal "precious" and
many talents.
The food was delicious and nobody should have gone home hungry. The restaurants will have
to start serving chili on their pancakes.
A special thank you to our EUC family and Pastor Steve. "Steve" you just seem to know when
you are needed. Thanks for keeping us occupied during Ralph's surgery and for your many visits
to London.
To the McGrath family - thanks to Ross for lending us your van to transport Ralph home to
enjoy summer time in his driveway with friends and family, over a home cooked meal.
Thanks to the behind the scenes home maintenance crew who kept the lawn, flower gardens
and llui dings looking their best
One doesn't realize until we are put into a health issue, how lucky we are to be within an hour's
drive of the medical experts. We rank "LHSC Trauma Unit" and "Parkwood Spinal Rehab" among
the best.
We are grateful for the support provided by my co-workers at Seaforth Community Hospital,
Town and Country Support Services and the St Elizabeth nurses. Nothing like the small town hos-
pital atmosphere where you get proficient service with a smile.
The continuous outpouring of support and encouragement is appreciated more than any of you
will ever know. We have not mentioned names intentionally. We know who you are.
We are so richly blessed and we have learned from this experience to be grateful for the little
things we used to take for granted.
At this time. we would like to thank our customers for their patronage over the past nine years.
This message of thanks is sent from our heart. We hope we can do for others as you have done
for us. Best wishes fora Happy Healthy 2008.
