Deaths REID, Alice: Peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital, on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, Miss Alice Reid of Seaforth in her 92nd year. Fondly remem- bered by her niece Bonnie Lee Bracken, nephew Lance and his wife Lynne Reid, cousins George and his wife Rosemary Reid, and Irene Hooper. Predeceased by her parents Andrew Reid and Sara McEwan (Gull Lake, Saskatchewan), sister Evangeline Coughlan (2007) and by brother Ewart Reid (1989). Alice was a long time faithful member of First Presbyterian Church, a member of the Ladies Aid Society and the Fireside Fellowship. She also attended Women's Missionary Society meetings and served as a Trustee for many years. She was a ded- icated member of the Seaforth Community Hospital Auxiliary, and a long serving driver for the Canadian Cancer Society. She had a passion for volunteering. Alice worked as a bookkeeper for her uncle Merton Reid in his insurance business. She was an avid curler and bowler. At Alice's request cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held at the Box and Smith Funeral Chapel, Seaforth, on Thursday, November 8, 2007. Reverend Henry Huberts of First Presbyterian Church officiated. Interment of ashes in Maitlandbank Cemetery at a later date. As expres- sions of sympathy memorial donations to First Presbyterian Church or Seaforth Community Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
