RAPIER
We would like to thank everyone who helped
to make our 40th anniversary an unforgettable
celebration. To the caterers, the bartenders,
and the DJ, thanks for a job well done. We
couldn't have done it without you. All the
cards, the gifts, the hugs and the kind words
were deeply moving. We are truly blessed to
have so many loving family and friends. Just to
say thank you to Keith and Pauline Siemon
hardly seems enough. Especially since you
connived, planned and withheld the truth from
us for God knows how long to make sure our
friends from England arrived by surprise. And
then turned the .next five days into a whirlwind
of surprises every time we turned around.
Together we shared much laughter and a few
tears - things true friends never forget. Our
girls sang for us and it was so beautiful. You
should share that gift more often. Don't wait for
special occasions. They don't come along
often enough. To all of our kids and grand -
kids, thanks for sharing the first waltz. You
won't know how proud we are of all of you until
the day your kids share in something that is
precious to you. Life is so short; make the
most of it. We love you all. We were truly
blessed to have Margaret Trudeau stop in.
Although she made us sit back, look and
laugh at what has happened in our life, she
also left us with some wonderful thoughts. Our
family is a circle of love and strength. With
every birth and every union the circle grows.
Every joy shared adds more love. Every crisis
faced together makes the circle stronger. How
true. Thanks Margaret. This day in our life will
never be forgotten. - Neil and Diana Rapien.
