The Huron County Social Services Department is seeking an
Administrative Services Clerk to work as part of the
Administrative Unit ensuring timely response to various
administrative functions for the Social Services department.
The Administrative Services Clerk functions include reception,
purchasing, accounts payable and receivable, clerical support
and technical support.

GLEW, Jim: Peacefully after a brave battle with cancer, at
Seaforth Community Hospital, on Saturday, October 27,
2007 Mr. Jim (Sticky) Glew of Seaforth in his 66th year.
Beloved husband of Betty Glew. Loving father of Mary Lynn
Muir and Jeff Shaw of Stratford, Rob and Angie Glew of
Seaforth. Cherished grandfather of Sean, Nicole, Jesse,
Kelsey, Jacob and Angus. Dear brother of Connie Becker
of Guelph. Brother-in-law of Pat and George Langlois, Mary
Bradshaw, all of Brussels, Cathy Andreassi of Seaforth and
Ken Nichols and Betty Baxter of Erin. Also loved by sever-
al nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Nancy
Andreassi and Carol Nichols, brothers-in-law John Becker
and Angelo Andreassi, his niece Angelee Andreassi, and
by his nephew Jim Nichols. Jim was a former volunteer fire-
fighter in the Seaforth area, and enjoyed many years of
playing baseball. Friends were received at the Box and
Smith Funeral Chapel, 47 High St. Seaforth on Monday from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service was held on
Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. Pastor Mark Kennedy
officiated. Cremation with interment of ashes at
Maitlandbank Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of
sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer
Society or the Seaforth Community Hospital would be
greatly appreciated. Honourary pallbearers were George

Big brother Zachary Caldwell would like everyone to know
about his new little sister, Keira Grace. Keira was born at
10:58 a.m. October 2nd, 2007 at Stratford General
Hospital. She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 19 inches long.
Keira's parents, Scott and Kelly Caldwell of Seaforth are
overjoyed to have a little girl to complete their family.
Special spoiling privileges belong to Grandma Joan
Caldwell of Bayfield, Grandma and Grandpa Brenda and
Bill McDougall of Blyth, and Uncle Darrell McDougall of
Calgary. She will also be well loved by two great -grandmas
