Deaths 42. Deaths VANCE ALMEIDA -Now at peace, Linda Almeida at the age of 49 passed away at the Goderich Hospital on October 7, 2007 after a lengthy struggle with cancer. Linda, an employee of the Signal Star for 30 years, beloved wife of Delfim "Del" Almeida is the loving daughter of Joy Wilkins and the late Whitford Vance.
