Four Londoners arrested
in liquor store thefts
Two London men, aged 38 and 48
and two London women, aged 45
and 54, were arrested last
Wednesday when thefts were
reported at area liquor stores.
Huron OPP were sent to a theft in
progress at the LCBO in Hensall at
about 4:30 p.m where they learned
about a man and woman leaving the
store with an unknown amount of
liquor, driving north on Highway 4
in a black Pontiac Grand Am.
Staff at the Hensall store had been
warned after being called by the
Exeter LCBO, who had also been
victims.
While officers were obtaining a
description of the suspects at the
Hensall store, the Clinton LCBO
called Hensall to say that the sus-
pects were in the store.
Officers arrived in time to observe
the suspects leaving the store.
