One resident who is 100 years old was anxious to have the proposed electoral change explained to Ron Finlayson Happy Birthday her so that she could make an informed decision on voting day. October is Pastoral Care Awareness month and Queensway cel- ebrated by hosting the South Huron ministerial mem- bers for their monthly meeting and luncheon Zlresday Oct. 2. Area clergy per- form an invaluable service when they provide weekly church services and visitation to their members who are now in long term cane. Thirteen retire- ment residents recently enjoyed a delicious fall luncheon at Hessenland Country Inn along with a tom' and his- tory of the coach house with Christa Ihrig. volunteer dri- vers Edna Deitz, Kay Mock and Betty Simmons pro- vided the trans- portation. Queensway was a sea of Pink on Friday when staff and residents dressed in pink to raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer.
