If roses grow in Heaven
Lord please pick a bunch for us,
Place them in our daughter's arms,
And tell her we miss her
And when she smiles place a kiss on her cheek
Because remembering her is easy.
We do it every day,
But an ache within our hearts,
Never goes away

Road Watch survey
asking public how
to make Huron
County roads safer
What do you think would make Huron County roads
safer?
That's one question Road Watch Huron is hoping the
public will answer in a short survey being distributed
this week.
Huron County has the highest rate of motor vehicle
collisions in Ontario. Road Watch Huron wants the
public's ideas about how to change that.
The program is funded by the County of Huron. The
coordinating committee is currently doing an evalua-
tion of its services. It wants residents to take a few
minutes to fill out a short survey.
The questionnaire is being distributed in the Oct. 5
edition of Focus News Magazine. It can also be done on-
line atwww.roadwatchhuron.ca.
The survey asks what residents think are the main
causes of fatal and serious injury collisions in Huron. It
also asks for ways to improve road safety in the county.
The surveys are to be returned to local municipal
offices or the Huron County Health Unit by Oct. 19.
Road Watch Huron will be compiling and sharing the
results by early 2008.
Road Watch Huron is a community initiative started
as a result of the high number of motor vehicle colli-
sions in the County. The group works to highlight the
importance of road safety in local communities.
