CIVIC SERVICE: A person that belongs to a service club or communi- ty organization in which he or she contributes many hours of time for the betterment of the community. HUMANITARIAN SERVICE: A person who is considerate of mankind, and is willing to give his/her time to help other people. These awards are chosen based on the individual's contribution to the commu- nity in a VOLUNTEER CAPACITY.
