The Elliott Moses award was special to the McGavin family since Elliott Moses was a director with Brandon's great grandfather Gordon McGavin. Brandon is the son of Brian and Shelley McGavin. Others who did well in the 2007 IPM were Jacob McGavin, 12, son of Jeff and Shannon McGavin, of Walton, Paul Dodds, of RR 1 Seaforth, Shawn Flanagan, of Dublin and Darryl O'Rourke, of Dublin. Jacob McGavin came third in the under 16 plowing competi- tion. Shawn Flanagan came fifth in the age 17-20 plowing class while Darryl O'Rourke came eighth in the age 21 and older plowing class. Paul Dodds came seventh in the Ontario championship tractor class.
