Mrs. Andrew Gibson of the Thames
Road on Thursday last fell on the ice
outside'her home and 'broke her left
arm above the wrist., This is the
second time the arm bas been broken.

quartette. Readings were given by
Miss Walker and Francis Abbott. Mr,
W. J. Beier had a radioreceiving ,et
there and ,several fine selections were
heard. The proceeds amounted to

DEATH OF .MRS. McI1vNIS,
The deathoccurred tan Exeter on
January 17th of an aged and respected
.resident of tovin an the person of Jane
Passmore, w}ifie orf Mr.. Donald, C. Mc -
is, aged 78 yaea'st p}nd, 6 months. The
late Mrs. McInnis spent all her life in
Usbnrne Township and Excreter village,
and was highly esteemed by all who
knew her. She married Mr. Mcinni,
some- fifty-one years ago, and last
winter they celebrated their golden
wedding anniversary, After farming
for many years they retired to Exeter.
Deceased suffered a stroke of paral-
ysis a few weeks ago, and the end
came gradually. Resides the hus-
band she is survijvied by throe sisters.

(Rev.) Spargo and Mrs, John McInnis
of Bowmanville, Ont. The fun-
eral, took place on Tuesday, inter-
ment being made tan the Exeter cerne--
tiery. Among those from a distance
