JUDSON SOOLE WALKER
1915 - 2007. Peacefully passed away on
Sunday September 23rd, 2007 at Columbia
Forest Long Term Care Centre, age 92. Jud is
survived by his loving wife Helena Elizabeth, of
32 years. Loving father of James (Sandy),
Margaret Taylor (John) and Thomas. Devoted
grandfather to Jeffrey, Suzanne, Andrew,
Michael, Julie and Megan. Dear stepfather to
Franklin (Ev ) Bryans, Phyllis (Howard)
Armitage, Barbara (Larry) Burns. Treasured
"Grandpa" to Vicki, Angelina, Liam, Alanna
(Lorenzo) Derek (Suman) and Renata.
Cherished Great Grandpa to Alejandra, Max,
Aidan, Anika & Sasha. Predeceased by his first
wife Catharine Margaret Root (1973), his broth-
er Holly Walker and sister-in-law Joan. Judson
was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and moved
to Canada as a young child. He served in the
RCAF in North Africa during WWII and returned
to Toronto where he raised his family and
worked at General Electric until his retirement
in 1977. After his retirement, Jud and Betty
lived in Seaforth and subsequently in
Waterloo. During his time in Seaforth, Jud
enjoyed golf, gardening and travel and he was
an active member of the Northside United
Church and the Seaforth Lions Club. Friends
are invited to share their memories of Judson
with his family during a Memorial Service at
Luther Village On the Park, 139 Father David
Bauer Drive, Waterloo, on Sunday, October
21st at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. As expres-
sions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's
Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society
may be arranged through the Erb & Good

NOTT, Beverley: At his residence in Clinton on
Wednesday, September 12, 2007, Beverley
Albert Nott, in his 65th year. Beloved husband
of Linda (East) Nott. Loved father of Dean
Edward Nott and his fiancee Carolann of
Kitchener, Thomas Bernard Nott and his wife
Christine, of Clinton, and Angela Marie Nott of
Clinton. Lovingly remembered by his father
Elgin Nott of Seaforth. Dear grandfather of
Wyatt, two step -grandchildren and four step -
great -grandchildren. Remembered by brothers
Glen (Gail) Nott of Alberta and Donald (Phyllis)
Nott of Seaforth, and his sister Marion (John)
Alblas of Kirkton. Also survived by several
nieces, nephews, great nieces and great
nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Tammy
Lynn (1977) and his mother Edith (Ferguson)
Nott (1983). Family received friends at the
Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St.
West, Seaforth on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m.
and Saturday, Sept. 15 from 12:00 noon until
the time of the funeral service at the funeral(
home at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Henry Huberts officiat-
ed. Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery,
Seaforth. Memorial donations to Canadian
Diabetes Association, Community Care Access
Centre or Heart and Stroke Foundation appreci-
ated. Pallbearers were Steve Flynn, Clayton
Riley, Jamie Riley, Gordon Dale, Harvey Dale
and Rick Hummel. Flower bearers were Shelly
