For the Provision of Broadband
Services for the
HURON RURAL
CONNECTIONS
BROADBAND PROJECT
The County of Huron invites proposals from qualified firms to
build a broadband network that will provide high speed inter -
net access to all those areas in the county presently lacking
this utility. This project is made possible through funding pro-
vided by the Rural Connections: The Ontario Municipal
Broadband Partnership Program of the Province of Ontario.

RITCHIE: Mary: On Monday, September 10, 2007 at
Clinton Public Hospital, Mary (Beacom) Ritchie, the for-
mer Mary Etta Laidlaw, of Egmondville, in her 85th year.
Beloved wife of the late Herbert Wesley Beacom
(1973) and Kenneth Ritchie (2002). Loving mother of
Bill (Yvonne) Beacom, Lois (Ken) Edey, all Qf Calgary,
Robert (Angela) Beacom of R.R. #1 Blyth and stepson
Larry Ritchie and special friend Joanne of Egmondville.
Fondly remembered by nine grandchildren, two great-
grandchildren, three step -grandchildren and six step -
great -grandchildren. Loved sister of Jim (Doris)
Laidlaw of Goderich. Dear sister-in-law of Edythe
Beacom of Londesboro and step -sister of Alice Munro
and Gerry Fremlin of Clinton, William and Lucia Laidlaw
of Calgary and Sheila Laidlaw -Radford and Joe
Radford of Buckhorn. Also remembered by several
nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents
Thomas and Mary Etta (Charter) Laidlaw. Family
received friends at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home,
Seaforth on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where
the funeral service was held on Thursday, September
13 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Steve Hildebrand officiated.
Interment Blyth Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wes
Beacom, J.C. Beacom, Jeff Edey, David Beacom, Tony
Middegaal and Robert Charter. Honourary pallbearers
were John Middegaal, Murray Johnston and Gordon
Charter. Flower bearers were Lori Robertson, Brenda
Cutforth, Mary Edey, Joyce Beacom and Melinda
Beacom. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke
Foundation or Clinton Public Hospital appreciated.

Dear brother-in-law of Miles & Janette Marshall of

REYNOLDS, Catherine Margaret: At St. Joseph's
Health Care, Guelph on Thursday, September 13, 2007,
Catherine M. (Kay) (Flannery) (Benninger) Reynolds, in
her 97th year, was the beloved wife of the late Gordon
Reynolds and the late Raymond Benninger (1963).'She
was the dear sister of Mrs. Geralda Dolan of Amherst,
Nova Scotia, and the late Martha Miller, John, Louis,
Cyril, Theresa. and James Flannery. Survived by nieces
and nephews. Rested at the Gilbert Maclntyre and Son
Funeral Horne, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N.
Guelph, where the family received friends on Sunday.
September 16, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for
Catherine was held at 2 p.m. A Funeral Mass took place
at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on
Monday, September 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment,
Maryrnount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sym-
pathy, donations to St. Vincent de Paul or to St. Joseph's
