Share with food bank at the time of thanksgiving
From Page 5
-ic.ant. We serve about 200, clients
per month and continue to have
new clients who need assistance at
the food bank.
Many of you have been most gen-
erous to the Seaforth and District
Food Bank during the last few
months by serving as volunteers,
donating food items and/or cash -
sometimes to mark special events,
like birthdays, and anniversaries
etc.
If you have contributed, we say a
most sincere thank you. Special
thanks to those who donated so
generously at the Seaforth Fair.
If you have not contributed and
you can count your blessings at
this season of thanksgiving, please
take a moment to consider sharing
just a little of your good fortune
with the food bank. Your donation
of food and/or cash can be made at
the food bank, at your church or to
your church's food bank represen-
tative.
You can be certain you will have
contributed to making this a happi-
er, healthier time of thanksgiving
for some more people in our com-
munity.

We're enjoying
our miniature
lawn mowers
From Page 4
And, best of all, they're warm,
fuzzy and happy to sit on your lap
and be stroked.
No, they're not dogs. But, hey -
with the tiny guinea pig vest
attached to a leash I saw recently at
the pet store to let you take your
guinea pig for walk - they could
come a close second.
Huron County put an official
stamp on a bylaw that will allow it
to take possession of the $850,000
grant being offered up by the
province for the Rural Connections
program.
The seed money will allow the
county to move forward in ensuring
broadband access is available, coun-
tywide.
Planning official Scott Tousaw
noted the grant will provide one-
third of the estimated $2.55 -million
cost of of the project, with the other
two-thirds of the funding originating
from the- private sector.
A Request For Proposals (RFP)
will soon be circulated by the county.
Pelt hike
County approved a committee -of -
the -whole recommendation that will
see the fee paid for nuisance coyote
pelts rise to $50 from the current
$35.
