Winthrop sees close to an inch of rain on Friday
We here in Winthrop had
close to an inch of rain on
Friday evening. However other
areas had less and not that far
away.
Rev. John's sermon at Cavan
United Church was titled "The
Family." Greeters and collec-
tors were Bud and Mary Eyre.
This was the first Sunday for
Sunday School after the sum-
mer and everyone enjoyed ice
creath sundaes after church.
Next Sunday,
there is to be a
baptism and the
bike rally follows the service.
Everyone is welcome to the
9:30 a.m. Sunday services.
Anna McNichol recently
