"They're in short supply," said Ag Society president Marie Hicknell-Feeney. "They're out there," said Betty Jermyn, another director in the Ag Society and one of the organizers behind the fair. `There's a lot of people out there that are quite willing if they're asked, but unless their names are on a list, I don't know to call them." "I had to put Marie on gates today (for the lawnmower tractor pull event) because there wasn't anyone else," she said on Sunday. Hicknell-Feeney said she thought the turn -out "was pretty good, but I always think we could have more." She said she was pleased with Friday's parade. "Where were lots of little ones," she said. "It's nice to see the children out." Other Friday events included a heavy horse show, a magic show, sheep judging, a pedal pull and the Ambassador's Dinner at 5:30 p.m. Following the Ambassador's Dinner, the ambassador contestants gave their speeches before the pork carcass and pie auction. Dan Upshall and Kaleb Arts placed first and second in the pork carcass competition.
