Seili said Huron East had been
attempting to expand highspeed
services for several years but
found it expensive to arrange
without provincial help.
Vodden said providers are begin-
ning to phone every day enquiring
about the process to bid to provide
service.
"There will most likely be one
provider but the bidders can go
together and form a consortium,"
he said, adding that a good price
for consumers as well as sustain-
ability will be things the commit-
tee will be looking at when decid-
ing on a provider.
