Neil Beuerman did a great job organizing the tournament. Nellie Barry, Joyce Matzold and Jeanine Jefferson helped with the meals. The Provincial Golf will be held in Seaforth this year on August 25. Registration begins on Friday evening with meat draws, music and food at the branch. The annual visit to P a r k w o o d Hospital is later this year in October which gives us more time to get our supplies ready for our veter- ans. Any dona- tions for our goody bags are greatly appreci- ated and can be dropped off at the branch. On Sept. 2 the Legion is sponsoring a Lawn Bowling Invitational Tournament. The Zone Convention will be held on Sept. 2 in Howick at 2 p.m. Let Comrade Gwen Harburn know if able to attend. A new show- case has been finished upstairs with many things from our sister branch in Scotland. Zone P.R.O. and Youth Education meet- ing will be held at Branch 109, Goderich on Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. To all our veterans and members who are ill and in hospital, get well real soon.
