46. In Memoriam
46. In Memoriam
COOMBS: In loving memory of My Mom and My Best
Friend, Thelma Coombs, whom I lost August 18th, 2001.
Mom: I miss you as much today as I did the day after.
Time does help and I try to think of The Good times and
celebrate those memories. In the past six years I have
found my soulmate, got married and we have a beautiful
little girl, your Granddaughter, Jadyn. She's so Precious!
She calls me "Mamma," like I called you. I point to your
picture on the wall and ask, "Who's this Jadyn?" And she
replies "Gramma!" It warms my Heart. She comes to the
cemetery and helps me water your flowers and we run up
and play and sit on the hill above your stone. She's only 20
months old and doesn't know where you are, but as she
gets older she will learn all about you. I will tell her what a
"Beautiful Person" you were, about your thoughtfulness
and your kind and gentle ways. We will look at pictures
and laugh at the funny ones. Jadyn will get to know you
through my eyes, my stories and all the good memories.
Mom, you're right. A Mother's Love for Her Daughter is like
no other. -
Thanks for being "Her Guardian Angel" and watching over
all of us. - Love You. Chance 46-34-1
SMITH, Mary Anne: Who passed away August 24,
1999.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone for part of us went with, the day
God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always be our side.
Our family chain is broken.
And nothing seems the same,
We tell our children about you in the hopes that they will
be as kind, compassionate, strong, and loving as you
always were.
Thinking of you not only today, but every day and miss-
ing you more than ever.
You were the best mother and wife we could have
asked for and kriow in our hearts what a wonderful
Grandma you would have been to our children.
Thinking of you in Heaven.
- Love always. Mark, Julie and Chris, Lindsay and
Erica, Chris and Colleen, Cam and Colin. 46-34-1
SMITH, Mary Anne: Remembering Mary Anne, a
"Special Daughter and Sister" who went to be with
Jesus August 24, 1999.
These past years without you,
Are the hardest we've ever known,
We treasure every thought of you.
And keep them as our own.
Although we cannot see you.
You are with us night and day,
For the love that was between us.
Death cannot take away.
The next time we will see you.
Will be at Heaven's Doors.
You'll be there to greet us,
And we will cry no more.
We'll put our arms around you.
And kiss your smiling face,
Then the pieces of our broken hearts.
Will fall back into place.
People tell us we have memories.
But they don't understand,
How can we hug a memory,
Or hold a memory's hand.
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
We'd walk right up to Heaven
And bring you home again.
- We'll love you always and forever. Mom, your brothers
and their families 46-34-1
