As the President's Cup stops in
Seaforth this weekend on its way to
the Royal Montreal Golf Club, orga-
nizers of the Come to the Country
Classic are expecting to hear that
the Canadian Tour will be coming to
Seaforth next year.
"We're really looking forward to
this weekend. This is a good way of
announcing the signing of the con-
tract for next year," says organizer
Maureen Agar.
Agar and Carolanne Doig have
been working towards the Canadian
Tour coming to Seaforth for the past
year with 'a county -wide effort to
collect $150,000 for the players'
prize money.
"The Canadian Tour is quite satis-
fied with what we've raised and is
excited that
we're selling
tickets with
prizes attached
so they can sup-
port our charity,"
says Agar.
Cam Doig
describes the
President's Cup
as "the Stanley
Cup of golf" and
is expecting 200-
300 people out to

Club from 10
