SPS, Huron
Centennial
have winners
at regional
track meet
Seaforth Public School had three
first place overall winners in the
regional track 'and field meet last
Thursday in Seaforth.
Luke Harrison came first overall
in the senior boys' category, Riley
Ward came first overall in interme-
diate boys and Joe Metzger came
first overall in junior boys.
Other overall winners from
Seaforth included William
Riggenberg, who came second over-
all in the junior boys, Lexi Cook,
who came third overall in the inter-
mediate girls and Tabitha Arts, who
came•third overall in the junior
girls.
For Huron Centennial Public
School, Deanna Love came first
overall in the senior girls, Shawn
Kennedy came second overall in the
senior boys, Benjamin Dressler
came third overall in intermediate
boys and Joshua Dressler came
third overall in midget boys.
In the senior boys' category, Luke
Harrison, of SPS, came first in shot
put, first in 100 -metre run and sec-
ond in long jump.
Brodie Cairns, of SPS, came first
in long jump, second in 100 -metre
run and second in 200 -metre run.
Devin Simpson, of SPS, came first
in softball throw.
Greg Wild, of Huron Centennial,
came second in 400 -metre run.
Shawn Kennedy, of Huron
Centennial, came second in 800 -
metre run and second in high jump.
In the senior girls' category,
Nicole McIntosh, of SPS, came first
in 800 -metre race.
Andrea Rowntree, of SPS, came
second in the 400 -metre race and
second in the 200 -metre race.
Deanna Love, of Huron
Centennial, came first in the 100 -
metre race, first in the 200 -metre
race, first in the 400 -metre race,
first in long jump, tied for first in
triple jump and second in the high
jump.
In the intermediate boys' catego-
ry, Riley Ward, of SPS, came first in
softball throw, first in high jump,
first in shot put, second in 400 -
metre run, second in long jump, sec-
ond in 200 -metre run and second in
100 -metre run.
Paul Doig, of $PS, came first in
the 800 -metre run.
