The 139th Hensall Spring Fair will be held on Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9 at the Hensall Community Centre. Entries will be received between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. with judging to be completed by 10:30 a.m. The Society is also hosting a bake sale which will commence at 10:30 a.m. and continue until all the baking is sold. The prince and princess of the fair will be selected by random draw. Admission to fair activitiesis free, but donations to the food bank are welcomed. There will be a midway both days, pay one price available. There will be a family pork din- ner at the Hensall arena .on Friday June 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be roast pork, baked beans, potatoes, vegetables, salad, and dessert. This event is hosted by Hensall United Church Youth Groups. Hensall United Church presents Canadian Fiddle Champion Scott Woods and his Dancink Fiddles Show on Friday, June 15 at 7 p.m. At Hensall United Church Mona Alderdice was the greeter with Bill Gibson playing the organ. The Hensall and Community Horticultural Society is hav- ing a bus trip on June 23 leaving Hensall United Church at 7:45 a.m. and return- ing around 8 p.m. Cottage Curios, Hostas Choice, Moore Water Gardens, S p a r t a, Carolian Wines, and Heeman Nursery are all on the tour.
