"Doctors are so overwhelmed today but it's important they open the gates and let us do our jobs," she said, adding that they can't help anyone with a diagno- sis. As well, the diabetes educa- tors are frus- trated by pre- scriptions not being given or lab test results -not being returned on time. "Sometimes we feel we're working in the dark," said Devereaux.
