CHSS also saw success
at last week's Huron -
Perth track and field
meet, and is sending 22 of
its 28 athletes to London.
"We didn't have any first
place finishes, but we
were a strong team as a
whole," coach Cindy
Carter said of the May 15-
16 meet held at St.
Anne's.
"We had thirds, fourths
and fifths and a lot of
those are Grade 9 stu-
dents, so there's room to
grow."
The top six athletes in
each Huron -Perth event
earned a spot at the
Western Ontario
Secondary School Athletic
Association (WOSSAA)

And while she's not sure
if any CHSS athletes will
make it on to the provin-
cial regionals, Carter
