Rev. John's sermon at Cavan United Church for Mother's Day was titled "Our Religious Roots." Greeters and col- lectors were Gordon and Irma Pryce. Special music was provided by Lindsay and Don Sills accompanied by Cheryl Ann St. Onge. They presented two numbers: The Lord's Prayer" and "How Great Thou Art." Don't forget Cavan's perennial plant and bake sale next Saturday, May 19, 9 a.m. to noon at Northside's front park- ing lot. Ron and Darlene Campbell of London, took Beatrice Campbell out for lunch on Mother's Day. Our family took us out for brunch at the golf course.
