Seaforth Legion to elect officers
Spring is in the air with a promise
of new beginnings and new hope.
We support our troops in
Afghanistan and pray for their safe
return home soon.
The Seaforth Legion's new slate of
officers will be elected this
Thursday, April 19 at 8 p.m. Please
plan to attend to fill the offices.
Installation will be in Brussels
May 25 for both Bra.nch and
Auxiliary.
On Saturday, April 14 the annual
Brett to Brian's Drownin' Dog Great
Canoe Rally was held.
First place was Nehru Budna who
won the new canoe. Second went to
Megan O'Reilly and Karen Murray
and third to Jacklin Hulley and
Amanda Van Miltenburg.
Brett and Brian did a super job in
running this event and to those who
tried out the water, it's a little early
yet.
The Ladies Auxiliary is having a
euchre tournament on April 21.
Comrade Ina McGrath made the
new curtains for the stairway win-
dows.
Mother's Day will be here again
on May 13 and much help is need -
