Winter -like weather returns
as Winthrop celebrates Easter
Well, we are back to winter -like

which were looking perky last week are
either covered in snow or are drooping.

Carol Hunt.
The sacrament of baptism was administered to
Carlene Piper Goos, infant daughter of Mike and Lorrie
Goos.
Rev. John's sermon was titled "God Always Has the
Last Word." Greeters and collectors were Frank and
Grace Dolmage.
Two vocal numbers were given by the Winthrop
Quartet.
The Sunday School Class coloured hard-boiled eggs.
A bridal shower was held recently at the church for
Cassie Hoegy. A good crowd attended and useful gifts
were presented to Cassie from members of the commu-
nity.

Dodds were Lynne and Ron Godkin, Scott, Brent,
Laura and Heather.
Ron and Darlene Campbell of London, visited on
Friday with Beatrice Campbell. Visiting on Sunday
