Following lunch at noon, there will be a penny/bake sale. A Good Friday service was held at Hensall United Church. Taking part. in this service were Rev. Lewis, Judy Kyle, Kay Mock, Kathy Mann, and Lucielle Beer. On Easter Sunday at Hensall United Church Rev. Keith Lewis conducted communion. Bill Gibson was the organist with Betty Simmons greeting everyone. The ushers were Mary Lou Hyde and Judy Kyle. The nursery people were looked after by Betty Simmons. Bible Study will be held on Tuesday, April 10 at 10 a.m. Tom Dunbar of River Line Nature Company will be the guest speaker at the Hensall and Community Horticultural Society on April 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Hensall United Church. Following their drumming demonstration the intermediate choir sang their repertoire. Students and teachers Louise Hoffman, Jennifer De Block, Lynn Bowman and EA Miss Dutton pro- vided a wonder- ful afternoon. Baking Group was held with Krista and Liz Ihrig of Hessenland assisting. Residents gathered around the baking room table decorated for Easter while beautiful gum- drop cookies and shortbread cook- ies decorated withellybeans were baked and taste -tested.
