The Seaforth novice ringette team
ended the season with a bronze
medal in the Western Ontario
Regionals recently.
"They were all really close games
and the girls played great," says
coach Dan Primeau.
The novices lost their first game
against Elora -Fergus 6-4 and their
second game against Owen Sound
8-6 but then beat London twice - 8-3
in the first game and 9-3 in the
bronze medal game.
"We hadn't played for a couple of
weeks before regionals and it took a
couple of games to get our feet back
under us," said Primeau.
The novices were the only
Seaforth team to play on the com-
petitive side of regionals.
The Seaforth petites, tweens and
belles all came fourth in the invita-
tional side of the tournament.
"We all had a really good weekend
and it was all close, competitive
play," says ringette president Kevin
Campbell.
