The Hensall shuffleboard scores for

The Hensall Legion is hosting a roast beef dinner at
Hensall Community Centre on Sunday March 25 at 5
p.m.
At Carmel Presbyterian Church Tracy Whitson-
Bahro was the minister with Joyce Pepper playing the
organ. Joyce also gave the Lenten Reading.
The offering was received by Bob Bell and Frank
Varley.
There. will be a pot -luck lunch following church on
Sunday, March 25.

Hensall United Church presents a half chicken bar-
becue on April 22 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
The Hensall and Cotnmunity Horticultural Society's
annual spring workshop will take place this Saturday
at Hensall United Church with registration beginning
at 10 a.m.
Victoria Serda will discuss what she learned from Al
Gore on climate change. Brenda Campbell will discuss
how to grow and use herbs.
Brian Swaile from Trees Ontario will reveal "how to
save the planet, one tree at a time."
Wednesday, March 21 is the last day to register, to
register at 519-262-2715, or any member of the execu-
tive.

Ben Rapien, son of Neil and Diana Rapien were joined in
marriage on May 27, 2006 in St. James Catholic Church,
Seaforth. The celebrant was Father Chris Gillespie.
Bridesmaids were Julianne Crowley, Jeanette Crowley,
Julianne Ryan, Bonnie Willsie, Bev Hagedorn and Barb
Myers. Groomsmen were Nick Keller, Curtis Hannon, John
Crowley, Brad Rapien, Jim Crowley and Nick Coulthard.
Flowergirls were Brynn Hagedorn, and Dora Willsie. Music
was provided by organist Mary Jane Willemse, soloist Adam
Babb, and violinist Amanda Ryan. Readers were Matthew
Crowley and Chris Willsie. Prayers of the Faithful, Debbie
Van den Henget. Greeters were Eli and Isaac Rapien, Taylor
and Kennedy Myers. The couple now resides in Listowel.
