Seaforth's novice ringette team
will be competing at the Western
Ontario regionals the weekend of
March 30 after winning the Huron-.
Perth championship.
Playing Mitchell, Exeter and
Forest in round robin play, the
Seaforth novices won four games,
lost one and tied one game, becom-
ing the top team in Huron -Perth.
Coach Dan Primeau says the
novices missed out on competing in
the regionals last year by one point
and he's looking forward to going
this year.
"I think we're going to do all right

The novices are the only Seaforth

competitive side at regionals.
The petites, tweens and belles will
all be competing on the invitational
side.
The Seaforth petites came third
out of the seven teams in Huron -
Perth play, the tweens came third
out of five teams and the belles
came fifth out of seven teams.
"We're all keen to go to regionals,"
says ringette president Kevin
Campbell.

teams, all under age 7, will play.
March 6

Jake Finlayson (2), Holdyn
Lansink, Josh Robinson
Coaches' Comments:
Harrison's determination and
solid play opened the scoring
in the second period.
Seaforth's 2-1 lead would not
hold in the third as Kincardine
battled back and tied the game
at four. Finlayson and
Robinson would score with
under two minutes left to give
Seaforth the win.
March 7
Seaforth 5 vs Kincardine 4

Seaforth struggled to keep up
with Mitchell during their

advance to the best of five
